I think everyone who's planning on going to a concert or in Japan and want to go to a concert seriously need to bookmark that site as it has extreme detail on all the pros and cons to each option.
Just wanted to let you guys know~
I have used this site many many times and never had a problem.

Also, a neat trick that really does work if you have Japanese skills.
Once you get your tickets - find the name of the person in the fan club at the bottom of the ticket. Go to a 100 yen store and by a cheap hanko. Write out a letter from that fan saying something like "Do to a sudden work obligation I have given my tickets at no cost to my friend (your name). If you have any questions call me at XXXXX. "Sign" it with your hanko.
If you have a friend in Japan willing to play along give them that number, if not give them YOUR cell number but turn off your phone. So when they call, they just get a recording saying you are unavailable - which will make sense since the person is supposed to be at work.
This does work for means of ID confirmation from the fan club.
However, I have been to over 100 JE concerts and have only seen JE checking ID/Tickets a handful of times - but they will do it sometimes! Especially if too much detail has been revealed on an auction.
